Navionics app you can down load any lake you want save trails and mark waypoints. It has one foot depth contoures of most lakes roadbeds bridges. I cross referenced it with the hot maps chip on my boat and its always dead on. For the lakes that have the greatest bass cover on the planet left without grass carp it even has hydrilla beds. It's is one of my most used apps I can do my homework of a lake sitting on the couch looking for channel swings and breaks drop off ect. Then transfer the waypoints to my big unit. My last trip to falcon we took my buddies boat and it wouldn't take my map card. We exclusively used my phone and spots I had marked. evidently we were close our biggest five bass for 2 and a half days was just short of 50 pounds.
Robert. Im talking paper maps. Im old school "Very" Im still fishing ABUs and lews speed sticks? I started marking lake maps when I was 16. started with G.V. and ended up with Joe Pool before it had water in it. I think I remember the spots so I just need a picture to mark on. I will or may never get in to this app stuff. Dont even have a computer at the house.
Yea. Ive been looking there and even the army navy stores and they have every lake 300 miles from the DFW area?? Wheres a Gibsons when you need one? Im looking for Joe Pool, Benbrook,Pat cleb and squaw creek.
