Loy Lake Report - 08/26/13 01:46 AM

Sorry no pics, maybe some go-pro video later if Tatanka54 is up to it. Fun day for lots of bluegill and a few bass. Only a couple on grass hoppers with many refusals. Fly of choice was a black cap spider about 3-4 feet down. I know it was hot but surprised we had the lake to ourselves.

Good old Cap Spider.

Robin, they really nail them today. Not a lot of finesse casting today, you could cast and just drift with the breeze and more or less lazy man fly trolling, lol. Each pass would produce 4-7 gills with a couple of large ones. Good way to keep cool as well.

Loy is always a good producer. I bet the vegetation is pretty thick right about now.
