Carp

Been chasing some carp on Ray Roberts lately. Nothing else to do in 100+ degree weather.

Looks like fun...i've wanted to try that. Where bouts do you recommend on RR?

Been fishing all around Lantana Park. Honestly though, the carp are everywhere. I'm trying to remember a place I fished years ago by cliffs and sand flats. The carp there were big and constantly cruising the flats. Ill find it eventually on a map. The lake is so low that any shore line you can access will have fish. Just remember to pay the $5 park fee. The Rangers there are very nice and helpful and I like helping out our Texas Parks and Wildlife.

I really want to get into some carp on the fly...thanks for the info!
