AP reds on the fly

AP reds on the fly - 01/12/22 12:26 PM

Drove down to Aransas Pass from Colo. to escape the cold and site fish for some reds. Been getting lots of shots at cruisers in the shallows. LHL,Brown &Root and the back bays of St.Joe island have all been good wading and drifting. Small unweighted streamers like deceivers and zonkers have worked well. With water temps in the mid 60s and daily weather changes the reds are still criusin and on the feed. Cheers

This speck was a nice surprise today.. She ate a popper on top and released unharmed.

There's the TIP OF THE MONTH! Go salt! What else is there besides carp and salt - and not always in that order!?
