Best fly fishing lakes? - 10/24/21 07:20 PM
I'm planning another bass trip to Tx lakes. 2021 I hit numerous lakes around Tyler in April. It was great. Would you stick with a spring trip, or is fall just as good? Is there a particular lake you can recommend for fly fishing? This is not a river trip, nor do I seek trout. Lake Athens was especially good, but the weather there was also the best we had.

Welcome back! Spring is significantly better and leads to summer sweat and big fish threat.

I Fisw; thanks for the reply. The photos I've seen of Caddo look like a bayou. In CA you get a good looking spot every 30 yards; Athens it was every 10 feet; Caddo looks likje every 3 feet.
