It was horrible fishing below the damn! Algae for days, yuck. Can anyone tell me where there is good fly fishing and what they are nibbling on?

It was really slow for me as well when I was there last week and yes the grass is really thick right now. Don’t give up on it tho. My best days fly fishing have been down there.

Went back to Whitney two days ago and the water below the damn was really high. Moving fast and a lot of turbulence. Not great fishing.
