Colorado pontoon down the guadalupe

Hey guys, I'm going to take my colorado pontoon boat down the guadalupe river fly fishing for trout.
I'm very new to this type of water craft. Where should it be safe to launch this type of craft. Any pointers fishing from this will be appreciated.. would love a safe easy trip. The less rapids the better.

I'm going out on a limb here; this is just basic stuff. And this is a river in Texas, and I don't know it. But for all the newbies who may try a pontoon on other rivers; the real danger is getting pinned by the force of a rapid against an obstruction. Obstructions might be fallen trees, large rocks, chutes, culverts, pipes, sunken boats, etc. Even a shallow but fast riffle can upend you. I've seen thick weeds in a slow pool totally engulf a fisherman's legs to where he couldn't move; it's really funny to watch him try to climb on top of the tube without capsizing to free his legs from weed. Float tubes are more hazardous than pontoons, but toons have their dangers and their uses.
