Anybody been lately ? wanting to take an 8 year old. Heard flows are good.

I was there a few weeks ago and fishing was good. Caught some nice striper and catfish on cut shad. Also caught some largemouths on artificials. Can’t really help with the fly fishing aspect of it, but fishing was good.

Were you by the dam, or closer to the bridge?

Closer to the bridge, downstream about half a mile to a mile.

Hike upstream past the bridge and fish in the big pool with a white or a white/chartreuse clouser minnow and catch whites and small striper all day.

Does anybody have a more recent report than 8/16? Wanted to know if the whites were still there. Thanks for the help.
