Striper on fly

Striper on fly - 08/05/19 03:58 PM

Took a guide trip to Texoma on Saturday. First time fishing for Striped Bass and a bucket list item to catch one on fly rod. Well between the bouts of thunder and lightening we managed to get some time on the water and find heavy top water action. What a blast, easily hooked (and released) well over 20 fish, I lost count and kept a limit for eating. Unreal experience. This was my biggest, not a monster, but awesome fight on fly rod. I never used conventional tackle the whole time event though it was available to me!

That's really the fun way to catch striped bass in my opinion. What guide did you use?
