Well the front had the sandbass fired up in the dark - 06/08/18 07:52 PM

Braved the storm to get into a few fish. Caught them first cast,last cast and almost every cast in the middle as well. They are really keying In on an insect hatch. I have caught sandbass on sz22 emergers before but I’m almost Positive we could catch them every cast with an elk hair cadis and a soft hackle dropper right now. Yet still throwing a sz six chartreuse and white clouser lol.

That 4th picture is one ugly sandie!

Just kidding, I know a drum when I see one. They're hard fighters and fun to catch. I haven't hooked into one on my fly rod yet, but back when I was an uncouth conventional tackle bass fisherman I caught a few.
