Glow/FireTail.

Woke my young Slugger up at 5:30 a.m. and we wade fished from the crack of dawn until 8:30 am, shell reef 4-6 ft. drop off.

Plenty of bait and fish activity, but nothing after 45 minutes of chunking dark colors - plum/chartreuse, pumpkseed/chartreuse and Texas Roach.

Switched to Glow/Firetail SW Bass Assassin and immediately hook up 3 of first 4 casts.

Throwing at the same spot I was seeing fish activity, just switched to the Glow/FireTail.

Good action for another 45 minutes with 3 outta 5 trout being keepers in the 15" to 18" range

Back in the vehicle at 8:30 a.m. ready to go clean some trout.

Daughter came in a litte later from HS volleyball 2 a days asking "What's for lunch." coach

Thanks to having some trusty Glow/Firetails handy it'll be Lemon Pepper Trout grilled in an iron skillet with baked taters n' stuff served up for the athletes around here to feed on.

Did a little field test today.

Put the 5" Glow/Firetail SW Bass Assassin w/ 1/8 oz. jig up against the Alameda Rattler popping cork and a Gulp! molten colored shrimp underneath it.

My son used the G/FT while I used the Alameda Rattler w/ Gulp! .

The Glow/Firetail caught more fish at a rate of 3-1. The Gulp! caught the biggest trout.

Not all fish were keepers and the biggest trout today was 17".

Glow/Firetail continues to be the go to soft plastic for putting keepers on the stringer.

Going through quite a few SW Bass Assassins, almost 1 per fish at times - even on the ones released, ... will have some G/FT Nortons handy next outing and see if they can keep up with the SWBA.

Hey kroakersoaker, I'm LMAO off too.

Sally Moffit and me - both names have been brought up.

Somebody's really pulling some posters chains over there on 2cool.

He's got a few all riled up and everything - 9,000 views and counting ... talk about a few 2cool posters making some other 2cool posters look like real fools.

It's hilarious.

It is hilarious. You should go over there and tell them the real story!

I doubt seriously this is a real story.

We'll see how it shakes out.

I know one thing.

Glow/Firetails have flat been producing fish and if ya'll know me I am a plum/chartreuse first with my soft pastic game.

And if nothing else comes out of all this nonsense, anglers will know what's up on the "catching scene" with their soft plastic game.
