Galveston East Bay 10/22/22 - 10/25/22 02:54 PM
Water Temperature 75 degrees, South winds 15 - 22, so the winds forced us to fish the South shoreline and further back in the marsh. Started in Yates and managed to catch 4 keeper trout, as well as a keeper flounder. The trout were in the deeper channels, while the Flounder were close to drains as the current was rolling out at a good pace. We were throwing both Downsouth tails with 1/4 oz heads, and Gulp tails with 1/8 oz heads for the Flounder. Moved on over to Big Pasture and managed to finish out our limit on Trout and a nice 27 inch Redfish, all as well hanging in the deeper channels. Caught a couple more flounders in some drains, but were slightly too small to keep. Also, caught a couple smaller trout on the Mirrolure MR17. The days are getting shorter and the water is starting to get right, so hit me up as fall has arrived for artificial teaching trips, as well as boat navigation trips on where to run and how to best put yourself in a position to catch fish consistently thru the fall and winter months, when fishing pressure eases up and you can enjoy some great days on the water with family and friends.
