Galveston East Bay 4/30 - 05/01/22 01:12 PM
Surface Water temperature 77 degrees, South Winds 11-17 mph, Water Clarity extremely good on the south shorelines protected from the wind. We started out at daylight throwing Soft Plastics with ¼ ounce jig heads and Top Waters, and the fish were just plain eating this morning during the major feed. We had our limits of Speckled Sea Trout by 7:19am. Slicks were continuing to pop up, as we continued catching Specs & Reds, until around 9:30. We moved a few miles and found a couple of shell beds that had good numbers on them until we decided to call it a day at around 11:30a.
Thankful to live in the great state of Texas, and the freedom to enjoy God’s Beauty and time on the waters of the Upper Texas Coast. .
