Hog Bayou

I have traveled up and down State Highway 35 to Port Lavaca all my life, even have family in seadrift. I have always wanted to fish green lake and the waters surrounding the area but never had a chance. I had a job in port lavaca today and decided to stop at the boat ramp at Hog Bayou and took pictures. Does anyone have any experience putting in there and fishing. It looks like it needs a frog or buzzbait thrown on it. I also saw that the county purchased green lake and plans are to make a park out of it. Im really excited about that.
