Phone GPS APP Question

Phone GPS APP Question - 08/07/14 02:08 PM

OK so I am an Old Fart and recently got a Samsung Gallaxy III phone with Verizon. My fishfinder does not have charts or GPS. I also have Gmail if that helps. Is there a phone app I can get that will allow me to mark waypoints and use as a mapping device for Central Texas lakes. Any and all help will be appreciated as I try to make the jump to the 21st Century. Thanks, WildEd

Navionics Boating works well.

Yes I use that too. It seemed to be pretty accurate for what I needed. I tried to use it last week on fork but couldn't get an Internet connection so never got the map fully loaded. I think that I could load the map first and it might have worked fine with the satellite connection. I am just using the free version. Haven't tried paying for the other features yet but I will this weekend.

Just go to the Google store on your phone and you can find a few fishing apps.
