Lake Texoma Shad and Striper Reports

I'd like to head up with a buddy and our kids this Sunday. It's been over a month since ce I've been on the lake, so I'm reaching out for a current status report. Where can we find shad, are the stripers on top in the morning, etc.

We went last month and found shad real good for the first in the back of little mineral, but then I hear reports of top water around the islands and I'm not sure if I need to do one or the other or if I can find shad reasonably close to where we'll be throwing topwaters at day break.
