I will be staying in Grapevine for a few days at the beginning of June. I know there is a bass pro right near where I’m staying, but I am wondering if there are any other local tackle shops that are worth a visit while I’m there.

A fly shop opened last year on Main Street in Grapevine. In north Fort Worth, there's Angler's Pro Tackle, a very good shop. On Rufe Snow, I think. Don't know of any more in Grapevine but BPS. Enjoy the food! IslandJim

There is a shop in Lake Dallas but the 2 times I have gone by there they were closed so I do not know anything about them...

It’s not close, but the closest mom and pop store is Fishin World by Love Field
