Corps Of Engineers Passes

Corps Of Engineers Passes - 03/31/22 09:58 PM

I live in central Texas and have several Corps of Engineers lakes near me. On their website for Lake Georgetown, it says a boat ramp fee is $4.00 and that's all I want is a boat ramp pass. When I try to get a pass, all I can find is an "activity pass". Does the activity pass allow me to use the boat ramp?

Next, on the website, the "annual activity pass" is $40 and the website says "this pass is valid for 14 days from day of purchase". Here Is The Link To me, that says that the annual pass is good for 14 days. Am I brain dead?

Finally, is there a pass that can be purchases that allows me to use any Corps Of Engineers Lake or do I have to purchase annual passes to each lake individually?

Just FYI, I called them and actually spoke to a human, but that person was completely clueless.

I buy an annual pass every year and it is indeed good for a year. Never bought one online, I always get mine from the gate attendant.

You can get a National Parks Pass for $80 I think that will allow you to enter any Federal park property.

The America the Beautiful National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass is your ticket to more than 2,000 federal recreation sites across the country. A pass covers entrance, standard amenity fees and day use fees for a driver and all passengers in a personal vehicle at per vehicle fee areas (or up to four adults at sites that charge per person). Children age 15 or under are admitted free.

I was lucky and got one for $20 that is a lifetime pass.

Thank you.

You can get both the year and the American Beautiful pass at the gates. I think the A B is for people over 62
