OMG - White Bass Season, again..... - 04/16/21 01:53 AM
My Wife and I were watching "Let's Fish" on TV tonight and Barry Stokes was on Tenkiller Ferry chasing white bass. Immediately, my Wife starts talking about wanting to go catch them. I, personally, could care less about catching them. We live in NW Houston. Where can we go within a reasonable radius that I can put her on some of these things?

Can't go wrong w Lake Somerville this time of year especially since creeks were low. Hit the main lake points early and mid lake humps once the sun gets up. If its not windy might get them schooling. We usually start day crappie fishing then troll or slab for white bass and the occasional hybrid.

Lake Livingston or Richland Chambers is known for the white bass.
