Anyone seeing a signifigant shad kill yet? North Texas.

Doubt anyone would see them. I have watched Shad dying during a severe cold front and they sink to the bottom.
I watched them struggle to get to the surface the flutter back down to the bottom.

You ought to see the tiapia here on Falcon.. Locals having a field day with the slow moving ones.. As are the netters..

I remember the banks being covered at Lake Meredith during a cold winter. If I remember correctly , the walleye fishing was better after
a good winter kill of shad.
