OC Fisher info - 02/05/21 01:35 AM

My granddaughter is graduating from the Air Force basic training in a couple of weeks. She will be stationed at Goodfellow Air Base in San Angelo. I want to take her fishing, but have absolutely no knowledge of OC Fisher. Can anyone give me the name of a good guide? I would prefer a bass guide, but any good guide will be appreciated.

Not too many actual licensed guides around here that I know of. Also OC Fisher is currently 6.3% full, ramp is covered in rocks and no dock. Bank surrounding ramp is also covered in rock so be prepared to get some hull damage. As for the fishing there, its fair at best but has its share at times. Better fishing at Twin Buttes.

Twin Buttes, OC Fisher, and Lake Nasworthy all are within a few miles of one another. When I said no guides around here that I know of its for all of San Angelo lakes. Oh and congrats to your granddaughter

Thanks for all the replies. I have decided to see if we can work out a trip for her to come here to Gonzales, then she can visit family and we can go fish Fayette or Somerville.

That how it was back in December and I took 1st that day. A bay boat has its advantages at times like this.
