This was at Ridgewood Country Club ramp, some rich guy had his barge moved from Belton Lake to Waco and it and the trailer that moved it was infested with them. They were lucky to get them under control right away. I don't know what going on with the bass, the last two time I been out could not buy a bite. I talked with a few more guys that say them same thing.

I wonder if the same eradication plan could be used to help prevent the spread of future politicians? TPWD could be on to something here!
I hope they're right, but I think I'm calling BS on them being completely gone. Let's see what turns up over the next few years.

i really wish i was lying. cover is disappearing more and more every year
Lake Waco is overfished for largemouth bass. I was out there one weekend a couple years ago and there were 3 separate bass tournaments on the same day! It’s a great white bass / hybrid / catfish / crappie lake. I catch a fair amount of quality LMB while white/hybrid fishing, especially when using live bait on deep structure.
