Tackle Shops - 11/25/20 02:19 AM

In the next couple of months once we get past the holidays, I am thinking about doing a 2-3 day independent tackle shop tour across Texas. Can anybody recommend a few good independent locally-owned shops that should be on my list?

Barlows Tackle in Richardson. Call to make sure they are open as they may be only doing mail order during Covid.

Minnow Bucket marina

For an hour trip from Fork I like Brannon's too and Academy in Greenville & Tyler.

Thank you all for the responses. I would much rather spread around a few hundred $ to these folks than give it to Bass Pro or Academy.

Been going there since 1971. Multiple different buildings all along Lovers Lane. Key Puckett owned it for decades, now owned by Robert ? (can't remember Roberts last name offhand but he keeps a great inventory).
