I am sure it is not as State Parks still closed.....

No, they will not open it. Email the TPWD and governor if you’d like to see it open before June.

Correct, South Shore, Calliham and 99 are all closed as of 4/16/2020

It’s open everyday and next to NOBODY was wearing face mask, I saw 3 people out of 30 wearing them. These clowns are gonna get it shut down. (I don’t blame guys for not wanting to wear them, but...)

Before all this virus started I always wore a "buff" to protect against UV rays because of skin cancer.
Most kayakers wear them because they are more exposed to reflected sunlight being so close to the water and help also prevent sunburn.

Worn around the neck its no different than wearing a bandana, but it covers and fits better.
When the next wave comes, maybe people will change their minds, who knows?
