Navigation GPS on Phone

I am sure that this has been discussed, but I did a couple searches and did not find any threads on this.

I just bought a little 16 ft jon boat and I would like to use my phone for GPS/Navigation.

What are the recommended apps for that? Most of the ones I am finding seem focused on Ocean/offshore.

Diesel is right. The Navionics app is exactly what you are looking for. I ran it for two years on an iPad before I started upgrading and adding screen space.

You can also purchase Lakemaster maps for individual bodies of water and download them to the FishSmart app.
For small waters, Navionics would have the most coverage.
