Helix 9 versus 10 - 07/11/18 05:27 PM

I am buying a new helix mega soon and am debating on the 9 inch versus 10. Money wise its 400 dollars difference. Is really worth the extra 400? What else do you get out of a 10 inch besides the extra inch?

The first thing is the resolution. Helix 10 is 1,024x600 vs the 9 at 800x480. The more pixels the better.

On the older models (not MEGA) they had different transducers. I assume the megas all have the same but you might want to confirm. Besides that they use the exact same case so my Helix 9 is a very large unit for such a small screen but happy I saved the money.

I have Helix 10 mega units, really like the size and the resolution.

Thought it was good compromise between the 9 (didn't like the resolution) and the 12 (too much money) IMO.

I have 3 10's, as they say, go big or go home!

I think you would like the 10 better.

The 10 provides better images. Both are excellent units.

The H10 has about 3,000 more pixels per square inch than the H9=more HD.

All three Helix MEGA SI models have the exact same standard transducer.

The ONLY difference is display size and resolution.
