I’ve done little research, figured I’d consult the experts. Anyone know of any boat access points on the trinity river near dallas? If so what are the recommended places. Any info is good to me. Thank y’all!

The best available "public" boat ramp is on hwy 980 East of Riverside TX at Waterwood Country club.

Another boat ramp can be found off Shady Lake Road, and the fishing is good all the way to Lewisville, TX..

There is the ramp under 287 near Trinidad.

The link below has good info regarding launch points. Some are very steep
I would not leave my vehicle unattended at several of the launch points

The spillways in Carrollton and at California Crossing have taken people’s lives

Be sure to familiarize yourself with the spillway locations and thoroughly google earth planned trips Also take note of water releases at Lake Lewisville

Launch points Trinity river

Be safe out there.
