Anyone have any experience with these rods? The reviews that I have seen have been pretty positive but I thought I would ask a community I trust. I am looking at the 7'4" heavy/XF for pitching and heavy carolina rigging. Also any suggestions for other rods with this specification would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I have 3 Smoke rods with Smoke reels, good rods for the money. I think I have a 7 med heavy, 7' 3 heavy and a 6'9 med heavy I use for spinnerbaits.

I think the reels are a little overpriced, like both the reels and rods but lots of good rods and reels to buy in this day and spend money on.

Thanks, Billy

I've had 2 that the micro eye inserts came out and had to replace them but otherwise, great rods.

Never test the depth of the water with both feet.

Would there be anything else that you might suggest? Any other rods that might work better for the function I had in mind? All I have fished previously has been MH, needing something with a little more oomph though.
