I have one opt the big football jig rods I use for a flipping stick and like it.

My fishing partner has one it's marked V17, I really like it and yes the grip is great, we got it at Cabelas but I think they have dropped them..

I haven't used that rod, but had a few American Rodsmiths rods with that same V17 grip. I loved the way they felt, more so once they got wet.
