How do you approach your lake for a tournament when you have a influx of fresh water? My local lake rose 18" over night and is muddy. Wondering what to throw and if the fish will bite. Am I wasting my time now?

In muddy water, ( fresh water) bright chartreuse Softplastic, black spinnerbaits, or cranks, or white, white chartreuse jigs. Shouldn't have a problem if you stay where you usually fish, if you prefer some might have migrated deep because of this

Black and blue jig or a bright chartreuse spinner bait would be my go to for muddy water.

I see you are probably fishin lake Nac so I'll tell you, walmart there used to sell these spinnerbaits, don't remember the brand but they were chartreuse with chartreuse painted blades - killer out there when the water got muddy. Also, white soft plastics work well out there in muddy water

Here are my stained water and clear water baits. I now have Bumper Stumper to add but not pictured yet as we will be testing them in Mexico next week. A full report and pictures will follow. Another tip. Minnow and Night Crawler scent is a must on lakes that are rising; it is the most natural scent know to Bass. Contact me if you need some. http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/9983575/-#Post9983575
