Tornado warning sirens sang twice this morning on Lake Athens around 6 and 7AM. Lots of lightning and looked nasty but didn't see anything else. Radar had some hooks/loops that looked like stuff I saw in a college meteorology class. Maybe it's was nothing but thought it was interesting to watch a couple boats still heading out on the water during the lighting and sirens...eager to be statistics I guess. Anyone hear anything about the weather this morning?

They were having a problem with the sirens, went off four times yesterday. No tornado.

I live on Lake Palestine and there wasn't any bad weather here today and we aren't that far from Lake Athens. I didn't hear of anything.
