I'm new here... and don't have a boat. I'm looking for a Bass club that I can join to get acquainted. Im not a pro, more of an amateur so something suitable. I live in Dallas and am willing to travel. I've ran a few google searches but found it hard to sift through. I appreciate any help you guys may have to offer.
thanks, Dan

In Dallas the is Century Bass Club. If you don't mind the drive Tarrant Christian Bass Club is a good one. The meetings are now in Hurst at Fun and Sun, and they fish lakes in a 150 mile radius of Tarrant County.

Irving Bass Club does a nice job as does the McKinney bass club.
Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

Welcome to the area. Look at the top of this Bass Fishing Forum under "Bass Clubs."

I'm a 20 year member of the Plano StrikeKings. We don't have a website but we are non-boater friendly and fish between 8-10 tournaments a year all within maybe 100 miles or so of Dallas. PM me if you want more information.

Please contact Fun N Sun Boats at 818-280-0303 and ask for Monte. He has a list of all the Bass Clubs in North Texas. Or you can go to their website at funnsunboats.com and see the info for just about all of them along with additional info on how FNS is the dealership of Bass Clubs!

You have a lot of choices in the DFW area.........it just depends what you are looking for.
This year we have averaged 36 teams a tournaments. There are no monthly meetings. Entry fee is $60 per team. You can get an idea about how we operate by checking out our facebook and website. We fish DFW area lakes.
Good luck on finding the right club!

Paper club i.e. 12 inches and up count, the longer the fish the more points, best five count, (lots of slot limits here). The club meets at cabelas in Allen first Tuesday of each month at 7 PM. $20 per tournament includes $5 BB. Annual dues are $35. We fish Monticello, welsh, Athens, and pat Mayse it seems every year and mix it up for the other tournaments. There is a tournament every year. Angler of the year points start with November's tournament. Non boater friendly, non boaters help with travel expenses. At the meeting we discuss how the fish were caught at the last tournament to help members become better. Good luck. Club name is Rodcrafters
