Picked up these 8 crappie (11.5 - 14.5”, biggest 1.75#) Must have caught at least 40 crappie, but most were small throwbacks. All were picked up on brush piles, with most being caught on white/char rocky top jigs, depth 12 to 20 feet.

The below image showed on my down imaging as I went over a COE brush pile. I threw out a marker buoy and fished it. Caught about 30 crappie here, mostly small. I did manage 5 nice keepers from this pile.




If we concentrated on the really important stuff in life,
there'd be a shortage of fishing poles
