Who is pulling a boat with an F-150 with the Ecoboost engine? How does it do? Does it have enough power?

The power is amazing with mine. I pull a 206 champion and it acts like there's nothing being towed. Now I wouldn't believe everybody on great gas mileage as my fx4 gets 10/11 towing and around 16 without.

I had one pulling a Z522 ranger, you never knew it was back their. I have never even had it gear down with the EcoBoost. I pulled a 50HP tractor with a bush hog on the back and a front end loader on the front. I pulled that tractor from Tyler to east of San Rayburn at speed limit and it never gear down with it either. I found my mileage to be about the same, 9/10 pulling a tractor or boat and 15.5 to 16.5 depending on speed.

You hit the nail on the head...my gas mileage is just like yours.

I pulled 2 boats. a 22' ski natique 5-6000lb boat with ease (suprised me) and a pull a 21ft triton. Can't tell it's back there. pulled the ski boat 5 hours north to oklahoma when i got it, set the cruise on 80 and rolled. Gas milage 7-8 mpg. Bass boat i get around 10-11 pulling the boat. Around town 16, highway if i drive 70 (which i don't) i have seen 19-21 then i get bored and drive 85 and avg 17.

I have a BC Pantera and got right at 14.5 MPG towing from Plano to Fork running 58-63 MPH. I did not hit much traffic at all. Going 70 it drops to about 12.5 MPG. Pulls easy but mostly flat terrain so I would expect that. Stops great also.

I've never been a Ford fan, but I went to Brokenbow with a buddy in his Platinum Ecoboost and was very impressed! If I ever switch to a truck from an SUV, I'll consider one of these.

I switched from a Tundra to an Fx2 and there's no comparison. Ecoboost is incredible. Expect, like said, 11 or so towing and around 19 at 75mph.
