Since y'all are on the subject are there clear lanes? any hazards, or things to look out for if you do not know the lake?

The entire lake is a hazard unless it is a clearly marked boat lane.

Side Note - If lake drops then hazards in boat lane start showing up.

Sounds like you need to look-out for a 21'Champion w/ a 250 running wide open with his head up his ___?

Thanks for the concerns. My family is going to be ok. But yes the boat lane is clearly marked but the markers are only on one side of the boat row. Lake o the pines is full of hazards!!! Mainly stumps in the mid and upper part of the lake and in all the coves. The north end of the lake is very shallow outside of the boat lane. So if your not sure of the area take your time and be carefull. O Yeah watch out for the boat drivers with their heads up their rear end!!!! It will be super crazy this weekend during the KYKX tournament. So I would fish another lake if your not fishing the tournament.

Several years ago in an Anglers Choice Tournament out of Johnson the lead boat "hooked" in the S turn headed north and it looked like one of those pile ups at Daytona. I think 6 boats wiped out and 3 were could not continue. No major injuries, except pride.

The funny thing about Pines is, even though it may be marked as a boat lane, that BY NO MEANS, IMPLIES THAT IT IS CLEAR OF STUMPS. Every boat lane on the lake is littered with stumps if the water drops any more that 1 to 1-1/2' below normal. A pretty piss poor effort of clearing for a boat lane if you ask me.
