Went bank fishing today got a late start. But the water felt good cooling down my
rubber boots. I fished form the bank out to 3 feet of water. I used a High Noon thump Buddy
on a 1/32 sikcle hook ball head unpainted. I caught 9 fish today all around 11".
I released all nine to recatch another day after they grew up a little.
the fish I caught were mixed male and female. Some female have spawned out and others have not!
the wind was not a factor today, nor was there a noticeable curent. The fish today also did not have
a destinked pattern.

It appears this is happening in several places.

I talked with a fellow slip holder at Joe Pool Marina around 6:00 tonight. He stated the crappie were not at the slips nor the fishing barge today.

They were catching a few catfish at the barge and a few white bass from the slips but very few crappie were being caught by anybody. Nobody could figured what happened, as there were there earlier in the month.

Almost makes me feel better about not being able to fish right now.
