I'm just wondering what mono lb. test I should use. I really don't want to lose that rig with all those lures on there. I'm open to suggestions, like using braid or mono. Thanks

All I know is don't use it. But if you do, watch out for the other 4 baits. Use a least 20 mono . I don't braid.

I use them quite a bit on Texoma. If you use 65lb braid you'll have a good chance of getting your rig back WHEN you get hung up.

They do make a retrieval system if you do get it hung up.

Yeah I miss read your 2nd post where you said you didn't use braid it was my fault.. I've only trolled with him a couple of times but we've done well and when you get hung up you can bend the hooks out and get you rig back.. we use 7' ugly stick lite, with Abu 6500s, with either 50 or 65# braid... its a lot of fun when we take the girls with us.. Trolling with my buddy on Texoma we use 65# braid.
I know you don't braid but its my suggestion.. All I use is braid anymore. I'll try it, like I said, open to suggestions. Thanks for the feedback.

Been ketchin some hybrids with it. Attached a swivel and add 20# to tag end. Haven't lost it yet, also been hung up a lot. Biggest caveat is using the net for a five # + hybrid and all the hooks etc get tangled up plus the fish flopping around, got my fingers pierced last wkend.
