That's Awesome!

Not trying to change the subject, but I have never been on Caddo due to Salvinia. Is it clear of stumps and stuff if you stay in the boat lane? I will definently be over there soon if it's pretty easy. Great job on the catches. Sounds like it's back.

Thanks! Keep catching them! Hope they take this opportunity to get rid of the Salvania.

You can get lost on Caddo real easy. Be sure and have a good map and pay attention to where you are going and where you have been. In places it all looks the same.

Just back from there this past Thursday and Friday. Tough fishing for me but caught a few, missed a few on frogs, and then just went exploring. Beautiful place. cheers

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

A good guide on Caddo is Randy Deaver. Had a great time with him and he knows the lake well enough to get on plane!! It would be easy to get lost.

Makes me wonder why anyone even worries about the stuff. Seems like they always get rid of it.

"They" didnt get rid of it.If we didnt get all that rain this winter mixed with cold temps. Caddo would have been in terrible shape come summertime. And when a lake is covered in the stuff and can spread to other area lakes there is plenty of reason to worry.
