It'll be hard to measure a 30+# blue in a yak, specifically my pescador. So we measure the fish take a pic and release? And the"weigh ins" will be a turn in of the pics or the actual fish?

Just trying to make sure I understand

It is a turn in of Pictures......Most folks use a measuring device called a Hawg Trough to take the picture with, it's a scale designed to be easier to measure a fish with in a kayak. We'll score based on lenghts not pounds - "weigh-in" is sort of confusing - sorry 'bout that!

Jose and all,
For big blues, gar, or anything over about 30 inches any tape measure will be acceptable.

This is a fun tournament to raise money for HOW so we don't want to get "ruled" to death on it.

I'm in - just need to decide which one(s) I want to sign up for.

The tournament will be CPR only (all fish must be released alive)

Why the live release? Releasing your crappie to the grease alive sounds dangerous.

That's a good question.
What we mean is you don't have to bring the fish to a weigh in.
Nobody will be penalized for keeping fish to eat!!!
