I'll be there next month to visit friends. Taking my 16'/40hp crappie boat to fish during the day while they are at work. I've never been there. Any information about the lake, fishing, tackle/lures would sure help.

Haven't been able to make it there yet so this isn't a voice of experience. This summer for sure.
Been told going thru one of the locks is a must-do.
