Figure I was going to try it out this Friday since I've moved out here to Mansfield. I've heard southern area is better hopefully this is true.

That's always been a tough lake for me with cats, but I have had luck around Lynn creek marina at night...if you fish with cut bait you can put yourself into some larger fish but other wise you will be sorry...I've heard that the boat ramp at cedar hill state park is good...there is a fishing jetty out there to fish from...

I caught three nice pan-sized channels Wednesday using cut wieners at Lynn Creak marina. I was fishing for bluegill and not trying to catch the cats.

I'm going to be under the bridge at Lynn creek tonight trying my luck. Will report tomorrow.

Isn't there a big sign now that the Oasis posted that says no fishing/trespassing to the bridge area?

I have been trying Loyd Park with limited success, not ready to give up yet. Most people say this is a tough lake but hopefully I will eventually find the big ones. I have caught my share of dunks.

Using cut shad and CJs with both slip cork and slip sinker. So far having better success with the punch bait.
