 Anybody fish Athens???

I've fished for crappie there, but never bluegill. I heard it was a good bluegill lake.

I've fished Athens a couple of years ago. Athens has some huge Bluegill. My former fishing buddy {passed away} would catch huge bluegill there. We would fish around the boat houses and clean up.. If you go, hope you catch a limit..

I've fished Athens a couple of years ago. Athens has some huge Bluegill. My former fishing buddy {passed away} would catch huge bluegill there. We would fish around the boat houses and clean up.. If you go, hope you catch a limit.. Sounds like a super Lake.  Where is Lake Athens?

East Texas--About 37 miles west of Tyler, Tx.. HWY 31 West.. It's not a huge lake, but a nice clean lake.
