The Bluegill bite is picking up and the action is only going to get better. Picked up these this past week fishing the Guadalupe River,Lake Dunlap, and the Santa Clara Creek. Fish were caught on ultra light tackle using worms. Both float and bottom techniques were used. Catching Gills on ultra light tackle throughout the week. It just don't get any better! fish

Nice banker! Gotta love those blue gill! They are what hooked me on fishing and still always a good time. I'm a bass fisherman now but, pound for pound blue gill fight alot harder. If any of y'all ever get time go fish big cypress Bayou in between Jefferson and Caddo lake. I have had multiple hundred fish days there fishing docks and cypress trees.

Nice catch. The fish are starting to get more active with the warmer weather. Looks like the weather is going to cooperate a little better this week.
