Great catfishing, especially the last two years. It's not easy finding shad, you have to work at it a little. I have been doing really good the last two months. Fish kill did happen, but it may not have killed as many fish as it has saved by keeping the traffic down on the lake. But we defiantly need a bunch of rain!

So I decided to go fishing this new lake for me. Fished in shallow water in coves with minnows since I could not find the shad. Did great with 10 box cats. Also found some sandbass spawning in the same spots.
