To the red nitro on PK that swerved within 25ft of me and my fishing partner after passing you in the boat lane, I apologize for passing you and and making you angry. We got to the lake late friday for a tournament on saturday and I was in a hurry to graph some spots with the hds then get off the lake by the cutoff time. If me being in a hurry somehow offended you or ticked you off or got you wet with spray then I am sorry.

Kinda what I said when it happened. I passed this guy like 3 times since we ran from caddo bay to rocky creek then started looking at coves on the way back. Who ever it was, was doing a comfortable speed for himself and we were in a hurry to look at some spots on a lake I had never been on before. So we had it cranked up and flying from spot to spot. I made sure I had plenty of room between me and the other guy when passing. When we stopped to look at a decent cove that looked like it had tons of good drop offs we got swerved at. So some guys dont like fast rides. Sorry for that.

One man's plenty of room is often another man's way too close, everyone has a unique perspective on any one given situation. This said, getting "swerved on" shouldn't be justification for it.

+1

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt....or worse. I don't know the situation and I "ain't got a dog in this fight" but passing someone in a boat lane is dangerous. Good people lose their lives every year by otherwise intelligent folks being careless. Please be careful.

You pass me that's cool......you spray me with your rooster tail that's 8' off the water we're going to visit.

And while I'm thinking about it, a rooster tail higher than your cowling is just lost thrust......

I had to pass a skeeter sat. on fork, he was doin about 40 and I was at 65, went far right as soon as it was safe to do and never looked back.

boat on right has right of way by the way.

I will say this, I put an extra loud horn on my boat just for passing, blow it twice so you know I am there (waiting for the first confrontation by someone that knows not what passing on water requires.)

This is what I thought when I read it earlier. This guy is either a troll and wanting negative comments or has no business on the lake. I don't know PK well but I know I can run it and be side by side with someone 50 yards away and feel safe.

I had 3foot tall tale. Had to work till lunch so we couldnt get to the lake earlier. Ive passed on lake fork boat lanes many times with no problems. I dont know if I got the guy wet or not. Was 50 to 60 ft off the side of the guy. He was doing 40 or less. Something I did made him mad so was just apologizing for it if hes on here. Ive been on here before and just kind of been reading some for awhile.
