With two tournaments already in the books, we are excited to bring the TTZ tournament experience to three brand new lakes in 2014. Lakes Belton and Waco will bookend the regular season and Canyon Lake, just outside New Braunfels in the Texas Hill Country, is coming up March 22, 2014. To make our inaugural visit to Canyon even better, we have partnered with Baja BBQ Shack and will be hosting the Friday registration and boat # draw on the most scenic deck of Canyon Lake!



Please come join us Friday, March 21 from 5 pm to 9 pm at the Baja BBQ Shack for some great food and drinks. As an additional incentive, Baja BBQ Shack will be awarding a $250 TTZ BONUS to the highest finishing team with a restaurant receipt (minimum $20) dated March 3 � March 21, 2014.

Chatted with a bunch of guys on the water Saturday, and saw a hell of a lot more running around. So how many of y'all were out there pre-fishing?

Looking back at all the photos and all the good times had, The next event never seems to get here soon enough! The camaraderie, incentives and continued growth make fishing this trail second to none for me. I've fished Canyon only a handful of times and had some solid trips. what I understand from the locals we should be hitting the lake just right, Who wouldn't mind hooking into some solid smallies!? I encourage anyone who hasn't fished the trail to come give TTZ a try at Canyon Lake!

When you combine TTZ and Lone Star it's pretty much always a party!





Oh yeah, the actual tournament on Saturday isn't half bad either. On a $150 entry per team ($100 per adult/youth team) we guarantee the top three places, $3500/$1500/$1250, and will increase those guaranteed payouts if we draw more than 100 teams; we also pay back a minimum of 90% overall. The competition is stiff and some of the best anglers in the state fish TTZ, but the camaraderie is definitely carried over onto the lake.

Looking forward to seeing some new faces on Canyon and kicking off the festivities at the Baja BBQ Shack Friday evening!

111 teams on Canyon Lake today, congrats to Dale Hughes and Randy Havard on the win with 17.76 lbs good for $3,600. Thanks to all the anglers that came out Friday night to Baja BBQ Shack and endured a tough day on a fickle lake.

Really enjoyed my first TTZ event, wish I would have got a few of the bigger fish I had on in the boat but had a blast, I look forward on fishing a lot more TTZ events in the future, they really do a outstanding job running there events.

It was good to see even with the fog, the start not getting on plane until it lifts the lake really fished big with this many boats. Not to many boats on top of each other, I think the weight would have been more if it as a normal start and no fog, there is a lot of good fish able water in this lake, hats off again to TTZ for having a big event on this lake.
