I have heard that the lake is very low and that the power plant is off line. Any info on how the fishing is would be helpful. My boat is down so I'll be bank fishing.

Thanks,
Big Jim

and anyone that uses the Eddleman ramp should be aware if you are standing at the ramp looking toward the lake about 30ft out at about 10 o'clock there is a huge rock just inches under the water surface.

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Not consistently and with lake so low having to look everywhere because not sure where they will be when they are shallow most of whats left of creeks are solid deep mud and dont think they will relate to that very well

Thanks for the update. I have fished the first bridge a lot for crappie and done very well. To bad the water is so low and I take it that if the plant is on standby then no water is coming out of the discharge.

Ive only found them by accident away from plant. I never knew how to find them in open water. But times I have lucked into them out in main lake it was a blast. Except for twice when I was catching crappie hybrids moved in crappie gone! Tpwd says They are often caught in the channel between two lakes. Ive never seen it ever...
