Does this line float or sink. I'm looking for a new topwater line. I fish braid on my big topwater baits. I like mono for the smaller baits. I have used 12lb and 15lb Big Game for years, but can't stand the memory. Thanks

It's Copolymer line. Basically like mono. Fluorocarbon sinks. Use it on my top waters all the time.
I love the smell of 2 stroke in the morning !!!

Line conditioner and stretch every couple of trips and that big game will straighten right out.

To answer your question. McCoys actually is made with silicone, so it floats more than anything, but still works well with CBs. I use it for everything except C/T-rigs and jigs, too much stretch for me on those applications. GREAT topwater line, however. Hope this helps.
Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
Oh, BTW, it is NOT like mono in nearly every way a line can be different, it is.

^^^^^^^ this
I started fishing it for top waters and crankbaits because of Thad. I love it for moving bait applications. Strong as heck too.

The question was float or sink. The word I used was basically- like mono in the fact it floats. No it's not like mono in many other ways. Been using it since early 90's. As far as stretch,if you compare it to something like Big Game - less stretch, less pigtail curly memory etc.
