Been a while since I fished Murray or Arbuckle but going to spend a few days on each lake. Anyone been on either lake recently and have an update? Much appreciated

have not been on either for awhile but on arbuckle go to the middle coves and fish them, they warm pretty quick (these are the ones between the two arms of the lake). go up the river on the east side and fish the north bank hard, have caught some 8-9# in both places.

I suck on murray so no advice I could give would help ya.

that is when those coves in the middle fish the best, large grass bed on the east side of the western most cove fishes great when stained, fish right off the drop.

Thanks guys. Hit Murray today for a few hours and didn't boat a single fish. Lost a few on a red trap but that was it for action. Got off the water before the storm hit. Gonna try again in the morning and then head over to Arbuckle if I can't find em.

For Murray, fish the steeper, rock banks with a jerkbait.

How was the lake level on Murray?

Life's short, better enjoy it while it lasts!

It's around 7 ft low.

We didn't attempt the lake yesterday with 50 mph gusts. Heading back out in an hour or so to try the smallies again. So far it's a shutout.
