Got trip planned next Wed thru Saturday down by the coast round Matagorda. I will be targeting yellows and large Gator Gars. I'm worried that the fishing will be non existent with all this wacky weather we have had lately. Has anyone hooked into either species in the last month?

Yellows are biting in that area we caught 8 last weekend in Matagorda County. With the rain we're getting now it ought to make it better.

Thanks Gulfcoast. That's good to hear. Sounds like u may be fishing in my neck of the woods. Were those Yella's caught in brackish or fresh water?
